Sappho is a cross-cultural music programme producer, pianist, and music educator.
Her work focuses on music event planning and production, international cultural exchange, and music education programmes. As a director and programme producer, she has contributed to and delivered large-scale events, including the 2026 London Chinese New Year Concert supported by the Chinese Embassy in the UK, as well as international festival projects such as the China Shanghai International Arts Festival. She has also planned and executed concert projects in China featuring leading international artists and ensembles, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Boys Choir.
In the education and exchange space, she has designed and delivered masterclasses and workshops in collaboration with partners such as the Royal College of Music, the Oxford School of Drama, and institutions in China including the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and Anhui University. Her students have progressed to schools including the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Harrow School.
She began studying music at a young age and holds two master’s degrees from the Royal College of Music (London) and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, with a strong foundation in professional skills and stage experience. She has served as an international student representative at the Royal College of Music, contributing to curriculum-related work, and is an Instrumental Ambassador for the UK’s Benedetti Foundation.
Beyond music, Sappho has a long-standing interest in photography and psychology, and continues to explore how interdisciplinary knowledge can be integrated and realised through projects. She connects music with photography, exhibitions, psychology, literature and other contexts, building narratives and experiences within a wider framework to reveal music’s deeper emotional layers and inner world.
Based in London, Sappho frequently travels between the UK and China for performances and creative work. She is also available for international collaborations.
